TechSkill’s mapping services have grown in the oil and gas industry since the early 90’s, producing detailed custom maps to meet the industry’s ever growing demands. We develop maps for our clients with operations in BC, AB, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. We have also developed maps for our clients with operations in Montana and North Dakota. TechSkill combines GPS data, survey data, AER data and client data, and then combines our proprietary data with the base map culture to produce custom maps to serve all sectors of the industry.

The following are some of the types of maps that we can provide. All of our maps can be customized to our client’s specific needs.
Corporate Gathering System Maps – showing client wells, pipelines and/or facilities. These maps include our standard base map culture (grid system, roads, hydrography, populated areas, parks and reserves). We can colour code the pipelines by size or substance and label each well as to their operating status.
CEPA Maps – showing LPG/NGL awareness zones as per CEPA requirements.
Gathering System Map Booklets – map booklets for easy use within trucks – typically showing one or two townships per page.

Measurement Schematics – for use as part of AER Directive 17. We work with your field personnel and your data to develop the schematics.
Fracture Planning Zone (FPZ) Maps – showing all wells around a planned Hydraulic fracture well and how it affects other wells in the area as per AER Directive 83.

Client Specific Presentations and Graphics – These special purpose maps can show oil and gas related specifics that our clients require for study and/or presentation purposes. They can be in paper form or digital files such as PDF, PowerPoint or Publisher.
Corporate Hierarchy Maps – These maps typically show all of our clients’ operations. They are usually broken down into business units and/or operation fields.
